AdultBlock
Blocks the exact name you apply for across .xxx, .adult, .porn and .sex.
- One name, exactly as spelled — for example,
examplebrandis blocked as examplebrand.xxx, examplebrand.adult, examplebrand.porn and examplebrand.sex. - Includes premium names that the registry would otherwise sell at a higher price.
- If someone already holds the name in one of these extensions, it's blocked as soon as that registration lapses.
- The right fit when your name is distinctive and you mainly need to stop the exact match.
AdultBlock+
Everything in AdultBlock, plus look-alike variations of your name.
- Blocks versions that swap in characters that look the same, such as a zero for an "o" or letters from other alphabets (homoglyphs).
- Covers internationalized (IDN) versions written with accented or non-Latin characters.
- Closes the gaps squatters use to get around an exact-match block.
- The right fit for well-known brands, names that are often impersonated, or anyone who wants the most complete protection.

Who can apply
The name must belong to you, and you'll upload proof when you apply. Any of these can qualify:
- A trademark recorded in the Trademark Clearinghouse (TMCH)
- A registered trademark
- An unregistered brand in active use
- A company or trading name
- The personal name of a public figure
- An existing .xxx Sunrise B block
You don't need a domain with Domain Pool to buy either option.
How it works
- Add an option to your cart Pick AdultBlock or AdultBlock+ above and add it to your cart. To block more than one name, add one item per name.
- Complete the application in your cart Tell us the name to block, what makes it eligible and who owns it, and upload your proof. Checkout opens once the application is complete. You pay at checkout.
- Eligibility review Domain Pool confirms the name is eligible before anything is placed with the registry. If it isn't, we refund you.
- Block placed We place the block with the registry, covering all four extensions at once. It shows as active under Account → Subscriptions.
- Yearly renewal It renews automatically every year on your renewal invoice. To stop a renewal, cancel at least 60 days before the renewal date; a later cancellation takes effect after one more year.
Why block instead of register
- One block covers four extensions, instead of registering and renewing four defensive domains.
- No adult-themed domain ever exists under your name, not even one you own.
- It prevents problems up front, rather than relying on a dispute after someone has already registered your name.
- One point of contact for the application, renewals and any registry correspondence.
